The TPB retains the option to set reasonable limits on the number, frequency, and length of presentations. 5. Amend the Horizon 2040 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP),.……………………………… ………………………….…...TPACChair

The Horizon 2013-2016 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and the Horizon 2015-2018 TIP to:

a.Combine projects 1-3, listed below (currently programmed in FY 2015 of the MPO planning documents), into one project: SouthernDACBridge Replacement project (MPO ID# B606X/CN E100100) using $980,000 of STP-Large Urban and $1,080,000 of STP-Flex funds for a total project cost of $2,060,000 in FY 2015;

1. NM 28 Bridge Replacement (MPO ID# B603X/CN 100100) using $400,000 Surface Transportation Program (STP)-TPU (Large Urban) funds,

2. NM 226 Bridge Replacement (MPO ID# B601X/CN E100130) using $160,000 STP-TPU funds, and

3. NM 186-La Union Canal (MPO ID# B602X/CN E100120) using $420,000 STP-TPU funds.

b.Add the West Mesa/High Mesa Road Alignment/Corridor Study project (MPO ID# M634X/CN 1100820) from NM 9 at NM 136 near Santa Teresa Port of Entry to 1-10 West of Las Cruces, near theCorralitosExit, using $260,592 of STP/Flex funds and $44,408 of State match for a total cost of $305,000 in FY 2015 (This is a dual program of the project in both MPOTIPs, El Paso and Mesilla Valley.Total project cost will not exceed $305,000);

c.Add the I-10 Pavement Preservation project (MPO ID#M633X/CN 1100620) and program $800,000 of STP-TPU (Large Urban) funds (El Paso MPO allocation).For informational purposes the project will also be funded using $9,700,000 of National Highway Performance Program (NHPP) funds, $2,000,000 of STP-Flex funds, and $1,200,000 of STP Small Urban funds for a total cost of $13,700,000 in FY 2016.

d.Add the NM 273 (McNutt Road) project (MPO ID# M635X/CN E100160) from Milepost 0.8 (Racetrack Drive) to Milepost 3.1 (Ross Road) to add a center turn lane for operational improvement, ADA & Drainage Improvements, construction of a multi-use path, rehabilitation of roadway, and lighting, to program $1,400,000 of Congestion, Mitigation and Air Quality funds and $3,950,000 of New Mexico Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) funds in FY 2016, for a total project cost of $5,350,000.

 

6. Amend the Horizon 2040 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP)……………………………………………………….………….Sun Metro

theHorizon 2013-2016 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and the Horizon 2015-2018 TIP to change the sponsor from County of El Paso to Sun Metro for Bus Purchase (MPO ID# T083X 0924-06-465) using CMAQ funds at a cost of $540,000, in FY 2015.
