The Transportation Policy Board (TPB) will allow speakers from the audience to comment on any transportation related issue that is not on the agenda. During the course of the meeting, audience members will be given an opportunity to discuss each item in the order in which it appears on the agenda, after the Board has discussed the item. Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) and corresponding TIP.

5. Approve the recommendations from the TPAC to amend the Horizon ............................. TPAC Chairperson

2040 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) and the Horizon 2017-2020 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) to include the TPAC recommended TAP projects from the 2017-2020 TAP project call, and submit to the 2017-2020 STIP at first amendment opportunity/November 2016 STIP revisions:

a. Program in Fiscal Year (FY) 2017 the University Avenue Pedestrian and Bike Enhancements Phase 1 (MPO ID# E108X-1) using

$552,187 in TAP funds. (UTEP)

b. Program in FY 2018 the University Avenue Pedestrian and Bicycle Enhancements (MPO ID# E109X) using $717,494 in TAP funds and $135,246 in Local Contribution for total funding amount of $852,740. (City of El Paso)

c. Program in FY 2018 the University Avenue Pedestrian and Bike Enhancement Phase II (MPO ID# E108X-2) using $472,506 in

TAP funds and $108,698 in Local Contribution for total funding amount of $581,204. (UTEP)

d. Program in FY 2019 the Chamizal Neighborhood Pedestrian Enhancements Phase I (MPO ID# E302X-1) using $847,179 in TAP funds and $166,521 in Local Contribution for total funding amount of $1,013,700. (City of El Paso)

e. Program in FY 2020 the Chamizal Neighborhood Pedestrian Enhancements Phase II (MPO ID# E302X-2) using $823,523 in TAP funds and $149,307 in Local Contribution for total funding amount of $972,830. (City of El Paso)
