The Transportation Project Advisory Committee (TPAC) will allow speakers from the audience to comment on any transportation related issue that is not on the agenda. During the course of the meeting, audience members will be given the opportunity to discuss each item in the order in which it appears on the agenda, after the Committee has discussed the item. Reprogram the following projects from FY 2015 to FY 2016:

a.Bluetooth Wait Systems at Paso Del Norte (PDN) Port of Entry (POE), MPO ID# C030X/CSJ 0924-06-459, using $120,000 of Category 5/Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) funds;

 

b.Bluetooth Wait Systems at Stanton Port Of Entry (POE), MPO ID# C031X/CSJ 0924-06-458, using $120,000 of Category 5/CMAQ funds.

 

4.Approve the December 2015 Project Readiness Report………………………………………………………….…………………MPO

toinclude project amendments for the Horizon 2040 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) and the Horizon 2015-2018 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).

 

a.Reprogram the Eastlake Safe Routes to School Project,...…………………………………………...…Town of Horizon City

MPO ID# 402X/CSJ 0924-06-514, from FY 2016 to FY 2017 using $1,056,898 of Category 9/Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) funds and $85,000 of Category 3/Local Contribution.

 

b.Deprogram the Vanpool FY 2016 project, MPO ID# T078X……………………………..…………………County of El Paso

CSJ 0924-06-485 using $600,000 of Category 5/CMAQ funds in FY 2016 as requested by the County of El Paso;

 

c.Deprogram theEdgemere/RC Poe Rd. Roundabout, ……………..…………….……………………………..City of El Paso

MPO ID# P458X/CSJ 0924-06-505, using $900,000 of Category 5/CMAQ funds in Fiscal Year (FY) 2017;

 

5.Amend the Horizon 2040 MTP, and the Horizon 2015-2018 TIP to………..…………………………..…….……City of El Paso

programan additional $909,883 to the Zaragoza POE, Pan American Dr. & Winn Rd. Project for Preliminary Engineering (PE) in FY 2016.This brings the total PE to $1,809,883.

 

Thenext meetingof the TPACis at1:30 p.m.onFebruary 3,2016,or as needed.The due date for submittal ofagenda items, names of speakers, attachments, items for presentations, andProject Request Forms (PRFs) is no later thanJanuary 20, 2016 by 3:00p.m.
